To make the refilling process smooth and efficient, please follow these instructions:

1. Release any remaining air from the lighter by pressing down on the nozzle at the bottom with a flathead screwdriver. Skipping this step might cause the lighter to malfunction, as it could expel air instead of butane. You’ll know you’re done when the lighter makes no sound when the valve is pressed.
2. When refilling, ensure there’s no gas leakage. Some butane nozzles might not fit perfectly, which can cause the gas to leak and prevent proper function. We suggest using Ronson Butane Fuel, which fits our lighters well and is readily available at Walmart or local stores.
3. After refilling, adjust the flame size with a flathead screwdriver. Start by turning it down to the lowest setting (“-“), then gradually increase it towards the “+” while attempting to ignite the flame. This will help find the right flame size for easy ignition.
4. Allow the lighter to sit for about 30 seconds before trying to ignite it.
